Job Title: Utilities Engineer
Location: Cork
Summary:
Kelly Services have partnered with our client, a medical device company in the Cork area. They are looking for a Utilities Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Utilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all facility/ utility infrastructure systems perform predictably and continue to operate as required to support the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will ensure that all utility systems conform to relevant regulatory requirements as well as supporting the Manufacturing department.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the set up and management of the maintenance program for all Utilities systems
  • Safety Champion of all utilities systems
  • Ownership of issues in the Utilities field
  • Set up of specification and standard procedures to align with industry standards
  • Act as SME for internal and external inspections
  • Complete periodic audits of utility systems
  • Data trend analysis of all performance aspects of utility systems
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedule is implemented
  • Development and execution of FAT, SAT and IOQ protocols
  • Continuous improvement programs and all performance improvement projects
  • Lead Site Energy management program
  • Ensure all safety action is assigned and actioned
  • Assist and lead CAPA investigations


Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree in a mechanical, electrical or process discipline
  • At least 5-8 years' experience working within a GMP environment in a process or equipment engineering role
  • Qualification and working experience in cleanroom technology
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in all aspects of utilities and production equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative & judgement, with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application
  • Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry
  • Relevant industrial project experience
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Previous experience working with a CMMS preferably Maximo, desired
  • Project management qualification and experience desired
