Job Title: Senior Sourcing Specialist
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: Negotiable + Benefits
Kelly Services are working with a Global Medical Device company to find a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join their team. The Senior Sourcing Specialist will report directly to the International Lead Sourcing Manager and will be responsible for the identification and selection of products for sale in the company's private label program. You will serve as an escalation point for issues and on-going supplier management activities and play a key role in developing and maintaining effective global cross functional communications.

  • Collaborate with logistics and quality functions to ensure high quality product is delivered on time as planned
  • Collaborate with international sourcing agents and suppliers to source new or alternative products solutions as per requested specification and direction
  • Complete pricing analysis on current and potential opportunities and communicate landed costs to internal stakeholders
  • Initiate and support cost reduction activities and projects
  • Development and presentation of business updates to senior management
  • Management to Contract Life Cycle Management process and support in contract negotiations as required
  • Execute Spend and Supplier analysis in order to develop and execute effective commodity strategies
  • Support and engage with the global artwork team to ensure packaging and artwork are presented as per customer and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and support comparative sample reviews, maintain documented evidence and gather feedback from all relevant stakeholders
  • Proactively lead and support international sourcing projects
  • Set and manage execution and delivery dates for projects and associated actions
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Maintain and update project management tools and trackers
  • Initiate and engage in process improvement initiatives


  • Educated to diploma/ degree level or equivalent in a related discipline
  • 5+ years experience in an international supply chain or global sourcing environment preferred
  • Previous experience within a Shared Services function preferred
  • Experience in leading and driving international sourcing projects
  • Capable of working in a multi-function team environment where strong inter-personal skills and effective communication is a necessity
  • Experiences using MS Office, in particular strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong Supply Chain and international business acumen, previous experience with commodity based sourcing and knowledge of global markets
  • Experience working with material specifications and demonstrated ability to develop a wide level of product knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with and empathize with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with strong administrative discipline and an ability to set and manage priorities in an organized manner
  • Financially astute and bottom line driven, with a good aptitude for numbers
  • Must be proactive and results orientated, with a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in an evolving environment
