Job description

Title: Customer Operations Specialist
Location: Galway
Summary: The successful candidate will function as a customer advocate while working alongside Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and External Sales to supply resolutions which fulfil customers needs and expectations in an effective and efficient manner to achieve excellent customer service. Customer Operations Specialist will report to the Customer Program Manager and will be responsible for conducting the quoting and order processes for the site in addition to supporting the process for revenue forecasting and the company CRM system.


  • Develop customer relationships with consistent communication to achieve their needs and expectations in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Communication with cross functional teams to complete contract review for product introduction process, quotation creation for both new and existing business, process orders for customer POs to include any changes or updates, management of new product builds.
  • Supply input for Business Reviews and engage when required.
  • Working with the external sales team to help develop the company, attend scheduled tradeshow events and customer site visits and support marketing when required.
  • Collaborate with various team members to deliver key metrics and create reporting metrics that exhibit the sites performance to customers.
  • Make sure all customer contractual obligations are applied and maintained as needed.
  • Execute all processes and procedures as documented in the Quality Management System.
  • Supply analysis in support of site revenue forecasting and compose reports for senior management review.
  • Additional duties may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and excel skills.
  • Organised and flexible with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work with a positive attitude to solve issues systematically.
