French or German Speaking Technical Support Assistant needed to provide Customer Service for global gaming company in Galway, Ireland 

  • Are you fluent in French OR German and English?
  • Do you want to assist players with game-related issues in the Game Support team?


Your role will be to assist players with game-related issues in the Game Support Team, providing customer support. As a result candidates will need to be able to work alternate shifts and weekends as required. It will be a fun, exciting and challenging environment in one of the most energising organisations in Ireland.  

Key Responsibilites

  • Provide an outstanding level of in-game support to our customers
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by players via in-game chat and email
  • Cultivate a positive attitude of helpfulness, professionalism and enthusiasm to be shared with customers and fellow employees
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Know and adhere to internal policies and procedures
  • Perform data entry and account maintenance as required
  • Educate and inform players accurately and proactively about the game and its terms of use
  • Assist customers with the restoration of lost items and characters
  • Investigate reports of player harassment or inappropriate behavior
  • Investigate and communicate reports of service outages
  • Escalate and communicate any legally sensitive issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Ideal Candidatate:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French OR English and German
  • Ability to prioritise and remain composed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Be a self-starter, who works well with peers
  • Can communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Is able to meet internal goals, objectives, and KPIs
  • Can adapt to change and multitask
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good understanding of customer service
  • Is proficient with MS Windows / Office
  • Have 6+ months of customer service experience

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Fluency in additional languages, spoken or written
  • Ability to type 40-50 words per minute
  • Passion for gaming
